Underground Railroad Tour

Join us as we trek the Underground Railroad and follow Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass’ lives along the backroads and waterways through the origins of American slavery. Experience the world of the men and women who lived, worked and fought through American enslavement. Visit the plantations of Dorchester, Maryland where Harriet Tubman lived and the fields across which she led more than 70 enslaved people to freedom. Ride the waterways, which our ancestors road to self-determination. Tour dates: October 11-13, 2025
“The water of fear and despair that enslaved us, the ocean, is also the water of freedom and hope – the rivers, bayous and swamps that freed us” (Frederick Douglas)
